The Stiletto Award

I’m honoured to receive my first award: The Stiletto Award. Shelly over at It’s Just One Foot in Front of the Other sent this to me last week. She claims that I’m inspirational. I find that funny because Shelly also has little un’s, finds time to run twice a day, and manages to stick to her goals no matter what.

I also have to laugh because I do not own a pair of shoes that looks anything like this. In fact, when I get dressed for work, I often have to look for clothes that agree with my comfortable, old running shoes. I’m sure that a few of my nominees don’t have a pair of these kicking around either.

So, now I get to pass the award onto five other bloggers, in no particular order, who motivate me:

KarmaGirl
Kelly
Rick
KC
RunnerDude

So, go check out their inspirational stories. Happy Friday, everyone.

  1. Cynthia – Thanks SO much for the award. I have never won anything like this and you can't imagine how happy I am. You are so kind. I used to wear shoes like this when I was younger (I am short and figured out that shoes like this made my legs look nice), but now that I have grown a bit more mature I only put the cute shoes on for my appointments and I wear my black converse All Atars (I think some call them Chucks) with my skirts. It's a look my office has come to accept:) I can't wait to check out the other blogs you have named. I know I am going on a bit, but I want to say that I have learned so much from you and the other bloggers I follow about how to “be” in the world. I love hearing how you do your running, literally and figuratively, with your boys. It reminds me of when my boy was young. Peace and Love.
